ministry to youth statement of faith

Statement of Faith

Our youth ministry curriculum is theologically broad enough for use in any Christian denomination (and non-denominational churches). It’s also flexible enough to use in large or big youth groups. Our youth ministry resources are used by thousands of churches (all types of denominations and non-denominational churches) around the world.

God the King and the Trinity

We believe that God is the eternal King. An infinite and unchanging Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, goodness, justice, power, and love. God is the one living and true God who has existed from all eternity as three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory.

Jesus Christ and Salvation

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully human and fully divine. Through his life, teachings, death, and resurrection, God has acted decisively in Jesus Christ to reconcile the world to himself. Salvation is a gift of grace, received through faith, not something we earn.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is active in the world today, drawing people to Jesus, shaping the life of the church, and empowering us to live lives marked by love, justice, and faithfulness. The Spirit guides and transforms us, helping us grow in faith and become more like Christ as we step into what God is doing in the world.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is authoritative and inspired by the Holy Spirit. Through Scripture, God reveals his character, purposes, and the good news of Jesus Christ.

The Church

We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, grow in faith, and share the love of Christ with the world. The church is a community where people are welcomed, formed in faith, and encouraged to follow Jesus together. Through worship, discipleship, and service, the church participates in God’s work of bringing love, hope, healing, and reconciliation to the world.

Christian Life

We believe following Jesus shapes how we live every part of our lives. As we grow in our relationship with God, we’re called to love our neighbors, seek justice, show compassion, and serve others. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we continue to grow as disciples and reflect the character of Christ in the world.
