CHILDREN’S MINISTRY GAME: PUMPKIN PIE FRISBEE

Pumpkin pies aren’t just for eating. They make great flying frisbees too! In this messy fall game, kids will take aim and launch pies at targets for points. Get ready for lots of laughter, splats, and a reminder to keep our eyes on Jesus.
GAME: PUMPKIN PIE FRISBEE
Setup
Use disposable pie tins. Fill each with a thin layer of whipped cream or pumpkin filling – enough to splat but still fly. Place large targets at the far end such as buckets, cardboard pumpkins with cut-out holes, or leaders in ponchos. You might want to put a tarp down on the floor to manage the mess.
How to Play
Divide kids into teams. Each player takes turns tossing their “pumpkin pie frisbee” toward the target. Award points for hitting the target (1 point), landing inside the bucket or hole (3 points), or splatting a leader (5 points). Rotate through teammates. The team with the most points after a few rounds wins. For extra fun, leaders can move around as “walking targets.”
Read Hebrews 12:2: “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.”
Say: Just like you had to focus on hitting the target, God calls us to fix our eyes on Jesus. That means we focus our attention on Him, even when life gets messy.
