A couple of weeks ago I visited San Diego with my 17-year old son, Ethan.

On an early morning walk near Sunset Cliffs, I was in awe at the beauty all around me. It was a holy moment.

I was connected to the natural beauty around me and to the very real presence of God.

Then, I started to think how every moment of our lives is holy. The highs, lows, and the daily grind of life.

This is something I’ve been thinking about for a few weeks. So, I decided to shoot a short video unpacking this idea.

I encourage you to take a few minutes, enjoy the beautiful backdrop, and see if what I say resonates with your soul.

You might be wondering why I was in San Diego (wasn’t I just in NYC?).

My son, Ethan, went to a sweet 16 party and Winter Formal dance with a friend. We also took the opportunity to take a tour of two colleges he is interested in attending. He’s a junior and college is right around the corner.

Good times!
